This New Year, we’re doing something different.

Instead of rushing into resolutions, productivity, or pep-rally visioning, we’re creating space to slow down, listen inward, and tend to ourselves with care. This Black Girl WELLbeing gathering is a cozy, grounding New Year reset designed for Black women who are ready to move out of holiday busyness and back-to-work pressure—and into intentionality, presence, and authenticity.

What to Expect

We’ll begin with a gentle, grounding yoga practice to help us settle into our bodies, regulate our nervous systems, and reconnect with ourselves. This is about centering—not pushing—so the practice will be accessible, supportive, trauma-informed, and accessible for all levels of experience and ability.

  • Bring a yoga mat. We will have a few extra.

From there, we’ll move into reflective and creative practices, including:

  • Vision boarding

  • Guided journaling and reflection prompts

There will be multiple options for engaging—guided activities if you want structure, and open space if you prefer to move at your own pace. You’re welcome to choose what feels right for you in the moment. We will have materials. We can always use more magazines if you have them. Also, feel free to bring any additional materials you want.

The Vibe

✨ Cozy
✨ Nourishing
✨ Soft and spacious
✨ Reflective, not performative
✨ Rooted in connection—with yourself and with community

We’ll also share warm, nourishing food and beverages, and create an environment that feels comforting, grounding, and welcoming—like a collective exhale.

Come as you are. Participate as much—or as little—as feels supportive. This space is about honoring your fullness, celebrating your WHOLE (past/present/future) SELF, and beginning the year from a place of care rather than urgency.

Location Details:

  • The venue has a small parking lot. Give yourself time to find street parking or one of the nearby free parking lots if needed.

  • Use the middle entrance door. There is an elevator right inside.

Register ASAP! There's limited space. Don't miss out on this opportunity to take care of yourself and nurture your mind, body, and soul. See you there!
